If you listen to the huge majority of historians, and archeaologists you will come to the conclusion that there is absolutly no way in the world that the Biblical exodus actually happened, there is just zero evidence for it, and as a matter of fact, there is overwealmig proof that it did not happen. So, it's no surprise that most people you talk to don't believe it happened either.

 

I saw a curious little story on line a few years back and it stuck in the back of my mind.

As news started coming out that a big Hollywood movie of the exodus story was about to be made, I rememered that story, and did some digging around.

 

I came across a story about two American men, Larry Williams, a two-time Republican candidate for the Senate from Montana & a self-made millionaire, & his friend Bob Cornuke, a retired policemen & former SWAT team member. Williams was a real life Indiana Jones, and loved adventure.

 

So when he read the exodus account in the Bible his mind was set into motion. Williams thought that the story must be based on some truth, and reasoned that there was a possibility that all that Egyptian gold, which the Bible describes being burried in the desert, may actually still be there. So, why not get a plan together and get out there to see if he could find it!

 

Sounds incredible, but it is absolutly true! Williams met Bob Cornuke pronounced (korn - uke)

at a party a friend was having. The two men struck up a conversation and became fast friends.

Let me tell you a true story to show what kind of man Bob is.

 

Bob went mountain climbing with some experienced slimbers, during the winter, up a verticle wall of ice and snow. He had never done any climbing before, but felt he was up to it, and besides, there were some very highly experienced experts who were going to teach him on the fly.

 

Bob partnered up wit the group's most experienced climber, and they were about half way up the ice wall about four hours into the climb, when the weather took a dangerous turn.

Both men were frozen solid, and could not see past six inches in front of their faces because of blowing snow and ice pellets.

 

The expert decided it was getting dangerous and the men started to descend the wall, very slowly and carefully.

Bob was below his partner, and could not see him. All of a sudden, Bob heard a terrifying scream, and watched in horror as his partner, the expert, went flailling down and past him. Bob was terrified, and started to ascend as fast as he could.

 

Bob came to an outcrop, a ledge and saw his partner laying on his back.

When Bob managed to climb down to the ledge, he was amazed and relieved that the man was still alive! He was barely conscience, and in very poor condition, with an obvious broken back, and other broken bones as well as some serious cuts and bruises.

 

He instructed Bob to climb down, leave him and get help.

Bob was not having any of that, but the man persisted.

"Sorry, but that's not hapening" Bob knew if he left the guy there, he would die long before help could arrive and so Bob picked his broken body up, as the man screamed and moaned in pain, and climbed down, all the way to safety, in about six hours. Bob drove the man to a hospital and saved his life.

 

Bob would not accept any compliments, or being called a hero. Bo was a police officer, and an ex swat team leader, he was bred to be a hero.

 

The two men managed to overcome what shuld have been insurmountable odds just to get into the country. Saudi Arabia, back then, did not accept any tourists. You had to be invited to get into the country. Just the way they worked getting in could be made into a major movie!

 

I can't go into long detail here, so I just advise that anyone who wants to read their amazing true story, to buy the book "The Gold of Exodus"

 

The two men used the Bible as a guide to find the Montain - ya, Mount Sinai!

They discovered almost every detail used in the Bible to follow in the exact footsteps of Moses and the freed slaves of Egypt!
